Re: HealthBoards University

Also known as the Member Appreciation System.

Quote:
The Member Appreciation System provides a way for HealthBoards members to earn Appreciation Points based on providing helpful and quality replies to member questions. Your Appreciation Points number reflects a combination of how many Thank You's and Hugs you've received for your posts, and Appreciations sent to you from other members.

It is represented by a sequence of green blocks in the headers to all your posts (below your actual post count). Members start with 0 points. By clicking on the scales icon in the lower left corner of any post, you can send an Appreciation to another member, with optional comments. As your Appreciation Points total grows you will reach various point levels.

We thought it would be fun to equate these point levels to earning a degree. The more points you earn, the closer you are to earning your HealthBoards degree! Once you do, youíll get special recognition on the site, and you can then earn higher degrees, become a Professor of Health, or even reach the ultimate level: the coveted HealthBoards University Dean of Health.

Remember, the more people you respond to and help, the more Thank You's , Hugs, and Appreciations you will receive, and the faster your Appreciation Points total will grow! And best of all, you'll feel great that youíve helped out so many other HealthBoarders in need of support!
