cant start a thread

Why can I only start a new thread in the registration/membership/problem site area

You have to be on the main page of a message board to get the Post a Question or New Thread button. You cannot start a new thread from inside a thread. When you are inside a thread you will only see a Reply button.

Thanks a lot that helped. I was able to start my very first thread
