Why do Threads get closed?

I wanted to contribute to my earlier thread on Aug 24th but I see it's now closed. Why do they get closed? I see some others have alot more posts.

Your August 24th thread "Negative tests, never saw tick and no rash" is not closed.

Re: Why do Threads get closed?

If you have a specific question, you must include the specific information and email it to the email address in the signature below.

The general answer to your question is that a thread may be closed for various reasons, such as when it is off the board topic, has become a cliquey group, arguing/debating, has over six pages, other members are being ignored, is older than six months, is creating side discussion other than the thread subject, a member is acting as a board leader/authority, or when in any way the thread has become a distraction from the purpose of the website/board. The decisions are made by moderators, and are not up for debate.

Always start your own New Thread to discuss your own issues, and do not add them to anyone else's thread.
