 re: Number of views vs number of replies
The number of views are mostly due to internet searches and have nothing to do with how many are registered to have posting ability or genuine interest in the post subject.
No one is obligated to reply.
The best way to get interest and interaction in your posts is to reply to others so that you become 'known', very similarly to live interaction. When we show an interest in others it usually comes back to us.
