Little background info : my girlfriend broke up with me not too long ago, anyway now she dates someone who i know i am so much better than... also everyone agrees , its not just me being arrogant, my question is, why would she dump me for someone who definatly isnt as good? this isnt sitting well with me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe you think you're better than him and others do too but she does not. He's probably new and exciting to her and she wants to learn more about him. Her tastes may be different than what you think.

This is a question which I don't know the answer to as well...

but maybe she see's something in him that you, or your friends don't see... maybe they just "click"

You and your friends might not think he's great as you, but think about this.. You friends know your going through a hard time right now and might be just trying to make you feel better.. I really don't know.

I agree with the post above me... It is something new and exciting for her, and a change for sure... I'm sure it will only last for a short period before she relized "this isn't what i want long term" and maybe she will come back to you. Just let life take it's course.

The point is, it doesn't matter what you or your friends think, or anybody else for that matter. It only matters what she thinks, and he is the one she wants to be with. I agree with the others that just because you or anyone else can see it, he may be her "one" and just right for her. On the other hand, he may not be... but only she can find that out for herself.

Now go out there and find your right "one"!!!

Speaking from the perspective of someone who shocked her friends when I began dating my bf..... looks have NOTHING to do with it. My ex was very good looking, so when I started seeing my present bf, my girlfriends were like--"Um, he's NOT that cute. What's up?!!??!! " Until they pointed that out, I was just so caught up in the way he made me FEEL. After they said that, I took a closer look at him, and even though he may not be as polished as my ex, I realized how much I loved his eyes and lips, legs, hands... I think he is amazing and that's all that really matters!
