Soulcatcher--Don't think about it so much. If you want to call her, call her. I hate those rules that say you should wait X amount of time before and in between calling. Personally, I like when a guy calls me. I like to know he's interested.
I think you should call ahead of time for a date. In other words, don't call on a Friday and ask her if she is free that night. I think if you want a date for Saturday, you should call by Wednesday. Otherwise, she may make other plans.
Yes, I do think if a man calls the same day, espeically late in the day, wanting to see a woman, it's a booty call.

If he does not call by Wednesday then I am going to blow it off. I didn't want to exchange phone numbers to begin with but so I didn't have to play games but now I guess I'm getting a complex because I thought he would call to get to know me more, don't you think? FWIW, i usually don't waste any time. i'd call the next day or if i got an email, i respond immediatedly..then again, i'm all by my lonesome so clearly that is NOT the thing to do..also, since you're the girl, i have a question for YOU: if the guy called the next day or emailed you the same day, would you be turned off claiming he's desperate???

I love it when a man calls me the next day, or even the same night, after a first date. I find it very flattering. I think most women do. If a guy waits too long to call, the woman will think he is not interested.
No, I want him to call me. I wouldn't be turned off. Maybe if I were younger around 20 but being 34 I don't want games. If I like him then lets hang out. He didn't call yesturday and so far not today either. He called the first two days and now no more. I don't get it! I didn't say anything to scare him.
