Drowning

Absolutely....without a doubt. I have had 3 long term relationships that did not work out. I was the one to end each of them, but trust me - I had my heart broken repeatedly....which led me to walk away. After a long time of being by myself and becoming almost convinced that I was never going to find anyone that was everything I was looking for...........I did. I will say that without my prior relationships and the heartache that I endured, I would probably not be as content and 100% happy with the person I am with now. Unfortunately, in life, we need to learn through experience. Through all of my pain and dissapointment....I was able to paint a clear picture of what I wanted in life and in love. I knew what I wanted and was not going to settle for anything less than that. Sure, it got frustrating at times and there were times I thought I was being unrealistic......but, it all paid off. I found someone that is everything that I wanted and more. He is my best friend - he makes me laugh like no one I know and the sight of him puts a smile on my face that lasts for days. I was the most pessimistic person when it came to love and was convinced that there was no such thing as "movie love".........but, there is and you will find it. You have to know what you want and wait for it. Do not settle for what you think is "good enough"......know that you are worth the best and do not stop until you have it...
