Something positive to say

I decided to say something positive for once about my week.

I got along with my mom yesterday. We went out to eat and it was overall a nice and fun evening.

I've been smiling more at school and seeing more smiles from others. I've also forced myself to be more patient and less critical over the last two days. Which has been cool.

I started to get some more counseling from a different type of counselor. The first session went very good.

I am resting a bit more than usual too.

Laster in the week I will continue doing more volunteer work.

tonight I plan to go to a church activity and hopefully it will be positive.

Re: Something positive to say

Stronger,

That certainly is a different mindset to your usual. Really positive.

Great news, that you are feeling happier, which is in turn making you more positive

Re: Something positive to say

Hey strongernow, I'm really happy for you. Hopefully you're realizing that just having a positive attitude can often be enough to influence how positively you experience the events in your life. It's funny you post this now actually, because just in the last few days I've been thinking that the more positive you are towards the outside world, the more it seems that the world treats you well and the more good things seem to happen. I tend to be pessimistic by nature, but it is definitely a smart idea and well worth the effort to try and fight that impulse. Hopefully you are still feeling better about things and will maintain your improved outlook--I am sure it'll continue to serve you well!
