you just want one big gift or are you willing to buy several gifts? i had to look up 600 pounds and i guess it's about 1125 dollars. so for about 160 lbs you could get a good spa package. a lot of women love spa treatments. i'm trying to think of other things.
My hidden point about your dad was that maybe you wouldn't need to give your mother a very expensive present. In my mind, it looks like an imbalance, although I don't know your real motivations. Usually, mothers want something else from their child, unless they are in need.
Sorry to disappoint you. I think that your present can even impress your mother and make her happy for a few days, but your atention is even more important.
Hi gooner, it's a lovely thought of you to spoil your mum. I think she will be made up just for the fact that you are trying to make her happy, regardless of how big the gift is.
It depends on what your mum really likes: maybe vouchers in a shop that she really likes, a nice engraved watch or neckless, a football season ticket, or you could buy her tickets to see her team playing abroad, if they are playing abroad anyway ....I know English people are too into football.
Maybe pay for "Scuba Diving" lessons, if she is interested. You should know her better. But the idea on its own will cheer her up
