Re: love?

There are many answers to this and everyone is different. I think, generally, if you can't stop thinking loving thoughts, desires and fantasies about the person, if you feel happier when you are with him, and feel a loss if he is not there, all those things will add up to being in love. I take it that you want to get over this person, and that is not easy. There is no magic way, you just have to live through it and try to keep busy, involve yourself with lots of other people and activities and generally wait it out. Sera

Re: love?

For me, I know I am still in love when I experience butterflies when I think of them during the day. I actually get a chemical surge go through me, which I guess is the butterflies. Also, to look forward to seeing them again is a good sign that you are still in love. I've only really been truly in love once, and you know when you are.

very well said
I agree
the running thoughts and desires to want to talk, hold, touch, and be with that person, the butterflies, dreams, fantasies, and feelings of loss without them around are all part of love

and as far as getting over it....i have yet to discover the cure for that
