what do you do when this happens...

we bought a home...the chase is over - i get the feeling from him its settling time and he got me....

We have not moved into our home yet (in 8 mths or so)so i feel like this is my time to show him that im someone he has to put effort into and wont just sit around and wait for him ALL the time....

What is your suggestions on this.

He is very much a routine simple guy. Like cars, games, movies and having a beer - to him we are fine and this is how it is and its simple. For me i feel like he has settled into this - "she isnt going anywhere" so why does he need to pay that special attention....any ideas?

We are great together and love eachother very much and plan to marry in the soon future!

May I ask you what do you do for yourself? Do you work? Do you go to the gym? Do you have your own friends who you can go out with to the movie or just for lunch?
Another words: do you have your own life too? I am glad to hear that you love each other, but something is so sad in your post, something tells me that something is missing...
While I absolutely agree you have to have your togetherness and do things you love both, I also thing you have to have your own space: your books your love, you g/f who you can meet on occasion, your gym or runnings in the mornings - something you enjoy doing by yourself. Than you don't have to "seat and wait for him" like you said in your post. You will have a piece of your own life to keep yourself busy when he is not near by.
