I was trying to do it all myself plus i too work a fulltime job i can't and won't do it my house now looks like a pig lives here and the grass is up to your knees he is always sleeping every waking moment

Re: how many husbands are just plain lazy

Has he always been like this?

He may need either a doctor (he is unwell, but probably doesn't know he is or doesn't want to acknowledge it) or an active friend who can set him an example and push him out of his laziness.

Maybe your husband is suffering form depression...unfortunately it is causing you to get depressed! Would he see a doc if you discussed it w/ him? Or has he always been like this?

Re: My husband is just plain lazy...

Something is wrong with your husband's health.

You can't force him to see a doctor, but you might suggest it. You should see a psychiatrist or therapist to talk about this. You can always treat your own depression. Depression is kind of contagious.

Good luck!
