Help Needed

My sister, nearly 72 was diagnosed bipolar around 20 years ago. She takes medication; feels better and then stops medication. Since her divorce she's gone from one man to another; her children no longer want her to be a part of their lives. It's just impossible to be around her. I can't have her living with me (my home is too small), but she's my sister and I don't want her to ruin whatever is left of her life. I have read that bipolar could be genetic, but I cannot find anyone else in the family who had, or has, bipolar.
