| Starting a relationship long-distance
Hello All,
I've recently had two 'fails' in terms of new relationships where i've met amazing girls, in different cities. The problem i've had is that these relationships have started long-distance to start with, not started local and become long-distance, and thats made it really difficult to build any trust, momentum, and connection more than initial attraction (as often its 3-4wks between each date!).
I also think that i'm not secure enough in myself to handle starting a relationship long-distance.... and maybe would be better finding someone locally (which is hard work!) as whenever ive started something long distance - a lot of my demons come to bite me, and insecurities manifest as jealousy, clingyness, and so forth (which never happens when they're local)
is it possible that long-distance relationships just dont work for some people?
