Post Girls

Where do I start lol I'm 16 years old and I suppose I hang with the "in" crowd they are people I like and I'm a pretyt happy person except when it comes to one whting, girls. I would have a great life if i could get a girlfriend, I don't know why, they call me cute or whatever but whenever it gets serious they just want to be friends, this has happened 5 or 6 times in my life, all of the girls i liekd just want to be friends. This makes me very sad. it seems like everyone else has someone but me, I know this isn't really depression, but I just wanted to get this off my chest. Also, when I see girls i like talkign to other guys, I get real jealous, and i feel real sad inside. well that's all I'll sya for now, plz comment if u can.

I know it's easy to get sad over not having a relationship. At 16, it's especially hard to deal with because it seems like everyone is getting to try out this new thing called dating. Okay, do I sound like I'm talking to you like a baby? Sorry if I am.

Anyway, in my experience I don't date guys that I am really close to. That's because us girls tend to think about losing you as a friend when and/or if the relationship goes wrong. Maybe this is why you're not getting dates with the girls that you know.

I'm sorry. I don't really know what to put here, but I felt that you needed someone to let you know that they understand what lonliness feels like. I'm feeling it right now also. I want this guy so bad that I can't stand it but I'm afraid to take things further than friendship.

Good luck. Maybe someone will come along with better advice than me. Just hang in there. Disappointments are like road humps. They're rough and they slow you down for a little while. But afterwards you'll enjoy a smooth ride. I think that's how the saying goes.

Hey man,

I totally know how you feel hey. Not the best feeling in the world. Its always at times like that when all you see around you is COUPLES!! Couples kissing, couples doing couple things...and dont they all seem SO SMUG?! Makes me sick.

anyway, youre young and youve got plenty of time for girls (heh, how many times have you heard that??). But it does hold an element of truth... If youre in the "in" crowd, i bet there are a few girls that you havent even realised existed who have huge crushes on you! But I know 16 is the age where image is everything and that can sometimes be a bit of a barrier. You'd want your friends to think that the girl your with is "hot" right?

Erugh, I dont know, im bad at giving advice and highschool wasnt exactly a barrel of fun for me - I left the "in" crowd to go and hang out with a bunch of "geeks" (they called themselves that) where I met my current partner (and that was 7 years ago!! man, I feel old!)

Do you have a set sort of way that you want things to go when you meet a girl? Do you want a serious relationship or do you just want to get laid? Do you want a girl, just to fit in? BTW, I dont mean for any of those questions to sound horrible or mean. I used to have like the "vision" of how things would be once I got into a relationship, how we would act etc - its all very shallow I know. But its something that you do, and something that you learn from. Which is a good thing!

You will find someone that reciprocates your feelings equally. You sound like a decent guy. You're still so very young!! You have a lifetime ahead of you for relationship stuff. Enjoy being young and hanging out with your mates, once you get into a serious relationship you kind of lose that..

cheers
K

You dont have a thing to worry about mate. From the age of 14 - 18 i didnt have a single girlfriend. And i was the mr Nice Guy. Oh hes so cute and so nice but no way am i dating him. I know what your talking about. All i can say is 16 is young, im only 20 now but being at 16 without a GF aint a big deal, trust me they come with a hell of a lot of strings attached. Im 20 now and dating one of the "hottest" girl at my college, dont ask me how i landed that, but just hang with the Mr Nice guy act and youll find someone who sees just how special you are.

When I was your age I was highly attracted to some of the guys in the "in" crowd. I wasn't ugly or anything. Actually I used to be a hottie myself, but I didn't have a crowd. I didn't hang out with the crowd because I assumed that most of them were stuck up and fake. I saw a few of them when I was out of high school, at bars and such. They talked to me and were hitting on me. I was completely aphaled. These are the guys that wouldn't give me the time of day before. I think that most girls wouldn't talk to you because they problably think you'd reject them. Or maybe you think you are too good for all of the girls (just kidding). Get out there and don't give up. Girls can make awesome friends too by the way.
