I was reading an older post of yours about yur guyfriend who goes out with a girl that treats him badly. I was wondering if you have in any way expressed your feelings for him. Sometimes people assume that subliminal things they do will be revealing, but aren't. I know this is risky, but if you haven't expressed your feelings yet you could say something like, "You know why I've been on your girlfriends case so much lately? Its because I have real genuine feelings for you, and I don't see why you would want to take her crap when there's someone right here for you.

Yes I have before,but at the time he was so dead set on marrying her regardless.Things are changing though..He is now seeing that she never spends time with him and isn't willing to travel to spend time with him..not making an effort to deepen the relationship..I'am slowly telling him how I feel about him and will tell him soon exactly how I feel..We spend time with each other daily and hear from each other via email..We can't call each other often but do talk on a daily basis..I sent him a pkg for his Birthday and Christmas that he got a few days ago,but not being able to catch him I haven't talked to him about it..He was so excited to receive it though...I will talk to him later today..Thank you for your advice,it was appreciated..

Good Luck to you and I hope it works out. I think friends make the best matches in relationship. My most successful relationship was with a girl I had been friends with for a long period of time, unfortunately my immaturity got in the way of what otherwise could have been a great relationship.

I just want to give you one more piece of advice: As long as your friend remains with another romantic interest, continue to date other people. I have a really good female friend at college and she seems perfect (I know she's not but a close second) and I broke up with a g/f to get together with her, because I misinterpreted friendly gestures as romantic. Then afterwards I was dating another girl (I already knew the female friend didnt think of me romantically) and I broke off with her b/c I couldn't get it off my mind how much of a better g/f she would be. Now I'm single. The point of this is that at least in my case she's probably not as perfect as I think. But assuming for the moment that she is, all that does me no good if she has no interest in dating me. Perhaps the same can be said for your situation.

Don't meant to rain on your parade, but I don't want others to go through what I have..
