am i fooling myself??? - Relationship Health Message Board

ok, here's the thing... i was re-united with a guy that i used to date approx. 7 years ago.our relationship was good and ended when i moved cross-country. well, guess who has moved to my state? he called me when he was in town and we got together for a drink. he lives 4hrs away by car. well, the force is strong with him. there was no "action" during our little reunion but we talked on the tele & he drove back here a couple of weeks ago. we had quite a hot weekend. same thing last weekend. it is supposed to be my turn to drive to his home next w/e. i feel some of the animal attraction being replaced w/ the old "love feeling" when we are together. he is even talking about me relocating. i was planning on it. but to a different part of the state than his home. now i have a twinge to rethink my plan. is this nutty? could it be real feelings or just sexual attraction for us? i feel my judgement hazey. these rash thoughts are not like me. all i think about is him holding my hand & smiling when we next see each other. i told my mom that i ran into him & she said, "i remember the two of you really liked each other. it was cute." dad is upset that i might,
"chuck it all to get married and have babies" mind you, he only thinks that i had drinks w/ this guy at the club & have been chatting by phone.
thoughts?

ps. we are both nearly 30 & unattached.

Might be a good idea to talk to him and see where he stands on his feelings for you. If it ended on good terms, and only ended because of a move, maybe this is the time that it is right for both of you.

It's not like you just met him. You know this person.

Life is short, tell him of your plans and what you were intending on doing, he might just go with you.

I second that Tex. Honesty with him is the best policy and if it is more than just sex for him, he will understand about the move you were considering and work out the logistics with you.
