A woman I work with had been flirting alot, making eyes, and it seemed pretty intese. I've been out of the game for a while and I thought I should ask her out. I casually asked if she'd like to go to lunch some time, no big deal. she politly declined. I was off for 6 weeks, and when I returned she started coming over to my work station and flirting way more than before. I try to just ignore her, just say hi and go about my business. What's up with that?

y dont u ask her to go out with u again sometime. If she declines again, then simply ask her to stop flirting with you cuz u don't like that she is leading u on or something like that. Just make sure ur nice about it.

In your eyes, you think she is flirting. To her, she is not. If you asked her to go to lunch and she turned you down whether you were going to pay or each of you pay for their own meal like most co-workers do, then I'd say she is probably a tease and likes to play the game. I wouldn't waste too much time on her because she sounds like the type of person who will twist things around and make you look like the bad guy at work. When she comes over now, either tell her you're busy, you were just about to walk away, make a phone call, anything to blow her off and see how she reacts. Women like this are more trouble than they are worth.

Don't you have a girlfriend? This woman at work probably doesn't want to date a man who is taken already. I think the above poster is right, I think that to YOU she's flirting, to her she thinks you're "safe" to act flirtatious around.
