I am soooo mad! - Relationship Health Message Board

I am so mad I could murder someone. Inspired by one of the poster's story about her boyfriend playing around on the internet, I decided to do my own little search. Guess what: I found my very-recently ex-boyfriend's picture and profile on the site where we met 7 months ago. He just changed the profile name. He is the guy who told me he isn't ready wife or a serious relationship but when I broke up with him about it, he started emailing and calling a lot. People here thought that maybe he was trying to win me back or missing me profusely. Here you go, that's how he misses me--he dates up a storm and couldn't care less about me. I hate him!!!! What makes me even more angry is that he told me he's not sure if he wants to have any more kids, but on the dating site in the box asking "Wants children?" he put "Definitely." I am sad to say, but that guy Billy Goldsmith who was banned from these boards was right on the money in this case: my ex was probably on this site the entire time of our relationship and dating other women all along while I was fantasizing about marrying him one day. Oh God, I think I"m going to explode.. and he's probably going to call again later, pretending to be my "friend." Dating just sucks. I think I am going to join a convent

I'm sorry honey. I know how it feels when something like this happens. It will be okay. I would change my number and not talk to him at all if I was you. Some guys are just really terrible. It will be okay. Don't give up though. You will find that one special person that can't hurt you because he can't live without you. It will be okay. Go be the crap out of a punching bag! I understand your anger, but the impression I got from your previous post was that he did not want to be in a committed relationship, which is consistent with what he is doing now. Unless you have other evidence, I would try not to jump to conclusions about what he might have been doing while the two of you were dating. If you are ready for a committed relationship, then you are certainly better off not being involved with someone who is not.

Thanks for the support, Dustbunnys-baby and USCRooster! You're both right and I guess I have no right to be angry and it shouldn't be any of my business what he's doing. I guess I'm just disappointed because I really liked this guy and thought it was mutual, based on how great and interested he acted in the beginning. Oh well.

Look at it this way - at least now you know his true colors. That ought to make it easier to get over him.
