exotic stranger from a far away land.... ? im confused - Relationship Health Message Board

i dont know...if this is weird and i dont know where to start with this... is it normal to feel a sort of strong connection with someone you havent talked to a lot.. and even if u did he barely spoke any english... and just make you feel really good ... like they had an air about them that you know you had to have known them for a certain reason.. and have an urgency to be with them... and theyre there to tell you something about yourself..like they are supposed to be something important to your life or have some sort of significance, but there was no way that this person could really be that and you never would have met this someone if u havent gone half around the world to by chance meet him???

because ihave met this person.. and im so confused because i think of him all the time.. i thought maybe i might have a crush on him but it would be kind of a gross thing cuz he looks like he would be 16 years older than me... (im 19 .. he looks like he would be 35ish...its a gross thought to me)

i dont know what to do with these thoughts and maybe you guys could help me... sorry if it didnt really make sense and that i didnt really make sentences but i dont really know how to explain it in words... its just weird. and im confused...

Maybe you are seeing something in this person that you need in your life.Maybe you are projecting what you want in your life onto this person.Maybe it is fate.Maybe you are looking for a way out of your present situation in life.Maybe you have been presented with an opportunity that will never happen again.Maybe you have fallen in love.maybe you have fallen in love with the idea of being in love. 4 years ago I fell for a visiting dutchman,we had fun here and then I followed him to Holland.Of course I had to return home,I have a job ,a life here.We sustained a long term relationship for another year,which ended after the last month long visit with him in Holland.There was a huge age difference also,I was 27 when I met him ,he was 19.I had some of the most passionate and adventurous times of my life with him.I met excellent friends,his family,learned alot,travelled alot ,had the highest phone bills in my life,and made a lifelong friend out of it.We were only meant to be very good friends .Next year I might spend some of my vacation with him and some friends from home.My boyfriend even is friendly with him.Anyway my point is......................enjoy what life offers you,it's up to you how to shape it,or flow with it.Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you think i should try to find him? or is that just so stupid because im chasing after this guy? i really cant get him off my mind though and i would really love it if i had some sort of closure or... SOMETHING.. cuz im constantly thinking about it and im.. sad.

Keep in mind that only you know what the "right answer," is for yourself ,in any situation,and that no one's opinion is more than just that,an opinion in a ocean of possibilities.Life is always changing,maybe this was just a taste of what's to come.I am not sure if you should go "find him," unless there was some kind of understanding between the two of you that you would both try to get in touch with each other.Hopefully he finds you!!!!! I might give a call ,see how he is, etc.......I don't know,only you do !!!!
