Arrow Does no reply mean it's over?

My (ex) boyfriend and I broke up a couple weeks ago, and a week after the breakup I wrote him a letter. It pretty much told him that I thought we could make things work and that I wanted to make things work..and I would wait for him and give him as much time as he needed to think things over. It's been over a week since I wrote that note, with no response at all. No phone call, no letter, nothing. Does this mean it's over, or he just needs time to think about it? Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

It can also mean he's immature, doesn't know what to say, and isn't terribly in touch with how he feels..

It means it it over for now.
A little over two years ago my man told me he needed time to think things over. About a week later, I got the "I think we should see other people." I was devistated and heartbroken....I never saw it coming.
I was in deep depression for a few days. Eventually I picked my pathetic self up and continued my life. I quit calling him and trying to work it out.
About three months after the breakup, he calls wanting me back. I didn't want to get hurt again, so I put him on a trial run. Two weeks later I let him back into my life. About three weeks after that, he proposed to me (we had been together almost three years before the breakup). We are now married.
So, yes, he may just need a little time to realize how much he needs you in his life. Until that time,if it comes, go on with your life. This will help him make his decision faster. If he knows you are out there living and other guys are noticing you, he will realize what he has lost.

Well the pther posts brought up valid points.
Besides, is this guy really worth it? He doesn't seem like he's returning any of the love/care you are showing him. He may just be upset, and not know what to say, but I would suggest moving on for now. Life is way too short to waste your time on someone who doesn't show at least an equal amount of give.

No one knows what the future holds, soa nything is possible. Time to move on, and make yourself a priority!

I know what it's like to wait forever for that special someone to come back. I waited years, literally, and then I just gave up most of the hope I had. It's devastating, but it;s a part of life. Use this experience to live and learn. Then, if nothing else, you got at least one good thing out a not so happy ending.

Thanks for the opinions..I don't think he really cares. I just found out he's said a few pretty nasty things about me behind my back.

I'm only 18. I have the whole world ahead of me. It's his loss..thanks to everyone for your help.
