Exclamation Its so hard not to..please help

Ive been with my boyfriend for just over 2 weeks.Hes really nice and I like him alot.He knows that I want to wait to have sex because Im a virgin and I dont want to rush into anything but the thing is,when we make out and stuff (no oral and skin on skin touching) things get so hot that i justb want to have sex with him,and I mean bad.I know he wants to too but he also knows that I wanna wait but its just hard becuase we both just wanna do it so bad.How are people able to wait to have sex? I wanna wait at least a year,if not more but things are already really hot and its only been 2 weeks.Any suggestions would be appreciated, besides the obvious avoid one on one situations cuz thats hard to do since we live in a tiny town and theres nothing to do.We usually go to his house and watch movies and its not like hes pressuring me,thats not it at all,its more me,I just want to do it bad ,not like 24/7 or anything like that but just when were makin out.Help!

wow you sound like me when i first staRted dating my boyfriend. i was SET on waiting. and i still belive in it!! but i didnt wait. we started dating when we were 16 we are now both 19 and still dating. he is the only man i have slept with, same for him, you know what i mean.he knew i wanted to wait, we always got so sexual and kissing and all that stuff. about three monthes into it,i told him i was ready. (i had wanted to for a while now) so we were going to do it and all then i stopped him. i obviesly was not ready! and see that is ok. your boyfriend seems really understanding, as far as what you said. my advice is do not di it unless you know for sure!!! we ended up having sex about a month later. but i do not regret it, but see i do encourage girls who want to wait to do just that wait. i know that i have done it, but i think girls are ready when they FEEL they are. some other people may not agree and i respect that, but thats how i feel. wait a little longer though. tell him you need to SLOW down...if he gets all weird about that then get mad at him, and if he gets really weird about it then lose him. having sex when you are NOT ready and you will regret it. trust me you WILL know if you re ready.if you do decide too. make sure you use PROTECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you have ANY DOUBT AT ALL,THEN YOU ARE NOT READY!!!!!

Unique, I am probably older than your own mother so the opionion I express will not be the one you may want to hear.

Everyone is curious about sex when they are young, the hormones are raging and it is hard to control.
Since you have only been going out for two weeks I think it is way too soon to be thinking about having sex with him. You haven't told us your age but I am assuming you are in your mid-teens. Here is a worst case scenerio for you - you have sex with this guy that you have been going out with for two weeks, it may last another two weeks, it may last years, but usually teen romances are short lived. You could get pregnant, are you willing to risk that? Even with protection it is always a possiblilty.

Here is another thing to consider before you go ahead and do it. If this 2 week relationship breaks off in a short while and you start seeing someone else and have sex with them in two weeks and that breaks off, then you see someone else - those numbers could add up pretty quickly. If you had 10 boyfriends per year that lasted 2 weeks, in 5 years that is 50 guys and you are most likely only 20 years old. Those numbers might be a little radical but it could happen. By the time you are ready to settle down and get married or have an exclusive relationship your reputation could precede you. No guy wants to date, take that back, they like to date loose women, they just don't like having them as their significant other. Think of the diseases you could get.

Here is some old advice: never sleep with someone that you may not want to be involved with for the rest of your life. Not married, but involved with, there could be a pregnancy as unplanned as it could be.

Maybe try posting this to the teen health board, they may be able to give you some younger views. Since you live in a small town (you said there was not much to do) word gets around fast - think of all the gossip you have heard, true or not the word spreads quickly. Try not being alone, have a group of people in to watch movies, go bowling, go to a movie and then go home, join your churches youth group. There are many things to do other than sex - even though we feel physically able to have sex the mental part is harder to live with. Picture your Dad catching you ever time you are tempted, that should put a cold damper on things.
