Staying away from my Angry Wife

I'm new and just need to tell someone....
My wife of 18 years has always been a little edgy with walls up. We have some really bad fights in our years together, but have managed to hang in there.
Well now she is going through menopause. Oh shoot, it's baad.
I got her Estro 500 and Progest 50.
Really helped for a month. Now she has quit her job and is staring at me with vengeance. Every thing i have done wrong is now on the plate and being examined. This woman has a way with words and can totally fillet me.
I'm very laid back and don't harbor any bad feelings or bring up the past.
But now she is drinking and will attack me for things long forgotten.
Literally, she will try to kick open our bedroom door and say "Whats wrong, you don't want to talk about my feelings?"
Me and our 2 teen age boys are really scared and there is not a dammed thing we can do about it.
Should i keep trying to confront her or just stay in my room and tell her to leave me alone.

Re: Staying away from my Angry Wife

It sounds like she may need psychological help.
I hope you can persuade her to seek it.
Best of luck to you both.
