| Are My Symptons RLS???
I have had what I have always just called "Leg Aches" for over 40 years. I don't get leg cramps or charlie horses very often. I just can't keep my legs still because I have dull, throbbing aches, usually in my calves and feet. Several years ago a doctor put me on quinine and it has helped, but causes tinnitus. I would like to get off the quinine if I can find another way to stop the aches.
For a number of years, I had been eating yogurt and bananas for breakfast. Finally, I got tired of the same old thing and have trouble even eating either one of these foods. My "leg aches" have gotten very bad again. I had thought the quinine was doing the job, but the aches were back. For the last few days, I have forced myself to eat a banana each day and the aches have almost disappeared, presumably because of the potassium in the bananas.
Does this sound like RLS or another problem? I have read some of the other posts and nobody has described "aches" as a sympton.
