I have had minimal restlessness in my left leg for many years and thought I was just overtired at the time. About 6 months ago it got really bad all of a sudden. Most nights I would leave bed about midnight and sit in a recliner until about 5:30am where I could just keep moving my legs without waking my husband. After several months of little sleep I found this site and was surprised that so many others were experiencing the same symtoms. Noticing comments about supplements I thought I would try that route first and it worked. I now take vitamins, minerals, and calcium each day. It took about a week to notice a difference but the symtoms are gone except for an occasional "twitch". Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences!
