RLS at work - Restless Leg Syndrome Message Board

I am having a terrible time getting any work done. I feel I have to be moving all the time, which is terrible because i work at the computer. I bounce my legs all the time and they ache allot. I am on paxil for depression. I usually sleep ok, but occasionally I will have terrible urges to "Get up and run". Wondering if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks

One thing I forgot to ask was. I have ordered Kava Kava in hopes that it might help. Anyone had luck with this

Be careful with Kava Kava or any of the herbs. I'm not saying anything is wrong with them, but if you have allergies to ragweed or goldenrod ect. you need to be careful. I have very bad allergies esp. to those types of things & the people at the health food store didn't warn me about them, so when I took Kava Kava the first time I ended up with a bad case of hives & an athsma attack. I know that this is rarely the case, but just be cautious when trying herbal remedies & go to a person that is very knowledgable about herbs & such. If you do have allergies tell them so they can tell you which herbs to steer clear of.

Magnetic inserts have helped me more than anything. They are nonivasive too. As long as I wear them, my legs are fine. Don't get the cheap magnets. They have to have the right polarization. Good luck.
