Does anyone know of what a person can take for RLS that isnt a perscribed medication? I have had RLS my entire life, and it drives me nuts.
Also does anyone know if it is genetic? My sister, my neice and my great nephew also suffer from RLS.
In Canada you can ask the pharmacist about it. We do not need a prescrip for a drug called QUININE. It is actually used to treat malaria but the pharmacist said it also used for RLS> I tried it and it worked but it did give me a bit of a headache. Ask the pharmacist is your country about it.
I like to take Ketoprophin 12.5 mg. It is an antiinflammatory called Orudius. It helps you relax and fall asleep. I absolutely am sold on how well it works - worth trying out and if it doesn't work as well for you at least it is low cost and you can use it in place of Advil.
