I don't recall 'having' RLS as a child, if I did, it would have been so sporadic that it wasn't a problem. But now! Whew! It's been really bad the last few months. I was diagnosed with ADD & Anxiety over a year ago (at the age of 30!) My meds have not changed since being diagnosed, but the RLS sure has become a problem. I mentioned it to my DR. and he said that the dosage I'm taking is pretty low (I don't know... 100mgs of Zoloft seems to be the norm, but anyway...) that it shouldn't be the cause of the RLS. He did agree that it could be my bed. I mentioned how I was sleeping in my son's new firm bed and didn't have any symptoms, but as soon as I moved back to my bed (my son wanted his room back! lol) the symptoms returned...and with a vengence! I don't know. I'm tired of taking my Vicodin, I like to keep it on hand in case I have another kidney stone attack (just another ailment to add to the growing list! ha-ha) I did take some Tylenol last night to see if that would work, even though it never does anything else for me, and it seemed to work. But then again, I took a shower before bed, which also seems to provide some relief. Oh well. Guess I'll just keep on keepin' on. Try everything I can. What a drag, huh? Okay, I've rambled on long enough...can you tell I didn't take my Ritalin this morning! LMAO!
