Ttony, I live in queens and I went to the RLS.org website to find docs that specialize it this condition. They are few and far between but I got alot of names.
I found one in brooklyn at NY Methodist hospital but it's a little out of the way. I'm sure there is a doc near you in suffolk.
You can search the web site for the one nearest to your town. Hope this helps!
