Junebug, I think one of your quesions was about stretching your legs to relive the tension, and finding that makes things worse. I also have that problem. Now, I do not consider myself lactose intolerant, but discovered - quite by accident - that milk too close to bedtime increases the Charley Horse problem. Even the little milk that I put in a cup of coffee can trigger leg cramps. Only thing to do it stand up, and they'll go away.
Regarding your other question, yes, having dear hubby "rock me to sleep" tends to increase the RLS. Maybe it's the adrenalin? So, I take an extra Klonapin!
