Anyone on Zoloft experience RLS and can honestly attribute it to the meds?

Hi, I am not on Zoloft but I am on Elavil (for migranes)and my RLS definately has gotten worse since I stared taking it. I am trying to cut my dose down so I can stop taking it all together. I have read that seratonin uptakes do make RLS worse. You may want to consult your doctor. I am currently taking Requip for RLS and it has REALLY helped. I still have problems but most nights I do get to sleep.

I'm on zoloft and did notice an increase in RLS after I recently uppped my dosage of zoloft.

Does anyone know any long term side effects of Zoloft. Except for occaisional itching and no libido, I have tolerable levels of the usual side-effects and am non-functional off the meds. Being on something indefinitely makes me nervous as there always seems to be some kind of price for medicated nirvana.

Itching? Hmm...I don't think I've experienced that. I've been on 100mgs of Zoloft (BTW, what a God-send!) for I think about 2 years (I also have ADD, so time is like a foreign concept to me! LOL) Anyway, I have absolutely NO desire for sex at all. Not to say I couldn't 'get in the mood,' but it would take some coaxing! LOL Guess it's a good thing I don't have a man to satisfy! LMAO!
