This is a follow up of my request for help with my rosacea. I wanted to get back with you to let you know what happened with my appt with my doctor. He feels that I have a mild case of rosacea right now due to the face I quit premarin. The withdrawl from premarin is causing my body to have this adult acne right now. He said that young woman are given birth control pills now to stop their acne, estrogen helps acne, he doesn't agree on that approach. The estrogen (premarin) could've been masking my symtoms all along while I was on it, however I am hopeful that as soon as my body gets back in balance from the absence of premarin my rosacea will go away.
