I went to the Dermatologist today and got myself an education! I wanted to share it with anyone who is interested. I have been to 3 different Docs in the past and this new Doc really knows his stuff! He told me I have Rosacea! I told him, "I do not." He said, "Yes. You do. This is the kind with little bumps under the skin and pimples." THAT was amazing to me! Why??? All these years(I'm 41 yrs. old) I thought I just had rosy skin & zits! lol No. This is a real answer and medical disease! I just went on the web and looked Rosacea up and learned all kinds of stuff! So, anyway, I'm already using Retin-A and he added a few other meds. to the mix. They are all creams/gels. I have to go back Walgreen's tomorrow to get the rest of my stuff. (They had to order cause they were all out.) He gave me a special face wash to use, a gel to use during the day to mop up the oil on my face and Rentin-A Micro. (Right now I'm on the Retin-A cream.) I guess the Micro is good to get rid of the grease on the face. We shall see! I guess that's about it for now. If anyone has any questions or comments,I am interested in sharing.
