My dermatologist, professor at a medical school, told me some dermatologists rent machines and run several people thru in a few days to make big bucks. So, you want to be sure the physician doing the laser surgery owns his own equipment and has lots of experience using it. There is a chance of scarring when done by inexperienced physicians doing it for a fast buck.
