Is rosacea a connective tissue disease?

No. It's a vascular disorder.

They don't know what causes it, the latest theories are that it's neurological (hypersensitive nerve endings in the skin) or there's a flaw in the immune system that causes an overboard response to simple infections. (or an abnormal response to common household dust mites)

since Rosacea is not a connective tissue disease, I have another question.

If the rash on my face is connective tissue rash, what would that mean? Do you know?
