Hi, i am a happily married mother of 3 with scizophrenia. Up until now it has been manageable for me. But, recently I began having delusions, which when they first began I knew they were only delusions. Now they are really bothering me and I am driving my husband,kids and self nuts. Some of the delsuions include, "what if i was with another man and just can't remember" and then I began to put images in my head to the point that I can not determine reality. A few months ago I would have told you it isall totally outragous to even think about. This was when I was doing really great and I felt normal. I am driving myslef crazy with all this. Can anyone help me or has anyone had similar delusions? God bless you all and may we all be better soon.
Hi...I'm a mom of one with schizoaffective disorder. I guess if I were you, I'd contact my psychiatrist and let him/her know what's been going on. You didn't mention if you were on meds, but I assume you are (sorry if I'm mistaken). Maybe something just needs to be tweaked. Good luck! Sue
I'm not on any medication. My insurance will not cover that kind of medication and it won't cover a pychiatrist either The only thing I have tried is Zoloft because it was the only mental med. the doctor carried samples of. Also, we just had a new baby and I am breastfeeding. Do you have any suggestions on dealing with delusions?
