Do all anti-psychotics work by blocking dopamine to the neurotransmitters? Are there any other types I could try?

dopamine is related to creativity. I would rather not lose that.

I know that when I quit Zoloft, I had permanent sexual dysfunction. I was wondering anyone has experienced permanent side effects from these drugs.

Some drugs work on serotonin receptors and glutamate receptors (the atypicals). It is the typical psychotics that primarily block dopamine, so they cause more problems with movement.

actually i'd like to hear an answer to this as well. I rely on the positive symptoms of Schizophrenia for music output. I sort of have a visual way of hearing music, but on meds (Abilify) I lose that as well as about a dozen other rad side positive symptoms.
