Hallucination stories - Schizophrenia Message Board

ok so my hallucination story is NOTHING compared to your guys' (and i truly sympathize you all cuz that's frickin scary), and i'm not schizophrenic--- but one time i overdosed on pseudoephedrine, and i saw dark figures and shadows in the corners of my eyes. my clothing would twitch and like my socks and pants would be scuttling across the floor. the moment that really scared me (again, no where near as scary as yours), was when i told myself i needed to get some sleep, shut off the tv, and slowly shut my eyes. the moment i did so i suddenly heard what sounded like the shuffling of papers coming from beside me in my room somewhere. i tried to ignore it, telling myself it was in my head--- when suddenly the shuffling turned to ripping and ripping and ripping. that freaked me out cuz even though i knew it wasn't really happening, i was afraid someone was in the room. also faces on my posters would change expression and blink, and in my ear while i was trying to sleep i couldve sworn i heard my friend squeak a schrill "hi!!"--- and my mom's voice yelling my name from some downstairs even though it was like 3:30 am. the voices sounded too real, good god.

anyway yeah, thats really the only times i've hallucinated

My son had several hallucinations as a child. One was of a man walking through the house, another was his baby sister's teddy turning mean at the end of her cot and attacking her.

He has since been diagnosed with epilepsy at aged 14yrs. His type - situated in the Temporal Lobe of his brain commonly causes hallucinations both visually and smell.

He has only had the one grand mal siezure, hence his diagnosis. The other seizures went unnoticed. ie. what he experienced during them...he thought was normal.

Ive thought aleins where going to attack. I followed a boy to a torn down building. Ive seen blood going down the walls or the walls opening to show a secret passage. I thought a rocking horse was going to attack me(it was talking and acted very evil) I thought it was going to fly up at me. Ive seen a total black fogged figure in the kitchen but yet still wont stay out of it.

Damn Food....Um...Ive seen items moving like since the 6th grade. I ran away to a church because of something or another....I have felt and heard a cat in my bed beside me. Ive felt like someone was having sex with me when theres nobody around. Ive seen all kinds of monster like figures. I notice things like pictures in the walls and things like that. Does that happen to anybody else? Ive sat and talked to a flame for about thirty minutes. I thought there was a spider in my head and that I had to release web (from my eyes) to get the spider out so I stood infrount of my house at the crack of dawn for about an hour. A three year old said bear and pointed into my room at the t.v I became paranoid and didnt watch t.v for about a month because I was afraid Id see a bear on the televison set. Ive seen people walking around the house, Ive seen horses, Ive seen you
