Voices?

If it isn't outside of myself like sound on TV, but inside my head, is it still considered voices?

Most of my thoughts are in my voice, but sometimes there will be a statement, command or nonsense phrase that is in my head, but not in my voice.

Is it clear or do you think later or during the thought, that it isnn't in your own voice?

If you didn't say it and you hear it when you cover your ears, yes you're hallucinating.

It is like thoughts, not sound. They are just not thought in my own voice. Is it the same?

Re: Voices?

well you don't really make a sound when you're speaking inside your mind. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by voices. If the phrases that you hear inside your mind arn't originating from your own thoughts then they are hallucinations (commonly called voices).

Re: Voices?

It could be you are having ocd or obsessive thoughts. As I understand it, they can be experienced by the person as not originating from the person. If you are not hearing actual sound, maybe it could be that.

Re: Voices?

Yeah, I get this too, I can't think without talking in my mind with my own voice and sometimes I think the voice is not my own, when probably it is subconsiously.
