| I need recommendations, please...
I'm looking for a scoliosis specialist near south central KY for my 7 year old daughter. I'm very willing to travel if I can find a GOOD doctor. She's recently been diagnosed with a 19 degree left curve by accident. She was sick and the doctor wanted to check her for pnuemonia so he did a chest xray and the radiologist noted it. She has complained of her back hurting everyday for the past 6 months and when I first mentioned it to her pediatrician about 3 months ago, he ignored it because he was focusing on her wheezing/breathing. Then once we saw a pediactric orthopedic doctor, he acted as if pain wasn't associated with scoliosis. So I'm looking a different doctor for her. She has several other health issues and I don't know if any or some of them could be related to the cause of her developing scoliosis. I really need someone who will take the time to look at the whole picture. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!!!
