So I was diagnosed with Mild Scoliosis in 2 parts of my spine (upper and lower) "S" shaped curve. Due to the scoliosis I have Disc Degerative Disease as well, which isn't apparently common for people in my age range as it is for the elderly, as well as arthritis due to the scraping of my discs.

My "lovely" physician completely lied to me when I went in for the results of my x-ray regarding the chronic pain I have been having since I gave birth to my son 7 years ago, in my back.

I went in a few weeks prior to getting an appointment with my physician regarding the results and spoke with a Nurse Practitioner first ( the results were already in, but I had to see my DR if i wanted pain medication ). The NP told me that according to the results sent back by the radiologist, I have mild Scoliosis, DDD and arthritis which is what was causing the pain my my back. She suggested I talk to my dr about seeing a specialist.

So I go to the DR ( a couple weeks later ) and ask him what the results were - already knowing what they were- and he said "everything looks great"... WELL BULLSH*T.... so I said "hmm funny because I was in here and seen the NP and she said...." then suddenly he notices that the radiologist stated that I have Mild scoliosis, ddd, and arthritis. ---- kind of hard to trust my DR now.

I ask him about seeing a specialist and he pretty much shoves that idea aside and tells me "just exercise"... but that's easier said then done considering the pain im in...

he refuses to give me any prescriptions for pain meds and the most he'll give me is an anti-inflammatory which does NOT work for me at all.

I had to throw my entire policing career down the drain due to this disabling pain and here he is just taking it with a grain of salt.

I dont really know why im posting this. Maybe it's to vent, maybe I am looking for some advice... i really don't know. All i know is that im 24 years old and feel 80 and that it's affecting my day to day life and I cannot seem to get ANY relief.
