Re: high TSH normal T3&T4

Your labs seem hypo to me, and brain fog is a hypo symptoms

I don't know much about T3 meds but It seems like your T4 could come up some so I don't know why your T4 dose was lowered and probably...

Re: anxiety and hashimotos? Does it get better?

Anxiety was one of the symptoms I had when first diagnosed and now that I am pretty much stable with my thyroid the anxiety is gone. There was a time before diagnosis that I considered seeing a...

Re: Antibiotics and thyroid meds?

I've been on amoixicillin with my synthroid and it didn't affect my levels or symptoms to speak of.

When I'm sick enough for antibiotics I usually feel so tired/awful from being sick I can't...

Re: Have any of you been able to get well on Synthroid?

After a lot of ups and downs I feel fine on synthroid only. I seem to feel the beet when my tdh is a little under 1. My last labs were .7 and I feel fine. For me if my tsh rises above2 I'm very...

Re: Lab results question

I would be having a lot of symptoms with that tsh level. You need yourdose increased and if your current doctor won't agree to it I would look into another one. If you are trying to get pregnant...

Re: question with regard to dentist?

I used to work for a dentist and what you are referring to is the epinephrine in some of the local anesthetics. This is added to some to help increase the numbing effect/duration.

If this gets...

Re: So, my doctor keeps suggesting that basically it is all in my head.

I know that I would be feeling many hypo symptoms with a TSH of 3.3. I know my endo uses 3 as the uppermost normal TSH level, so based on that you would be considered hypothyroid.

I would push...

Re: Have been on Levithyroxin a week now and feel miserable

Unfortunately it takes at least a few weeks before you start to feel some improvement, and it may be much longer, and a few dose increases later, until you get your levels right, and feel a lot...

Re: allergist or ENT?

If I were you I would start with an allergist to see if aggressively treating your allergies is enough to make you feel better.

If you go that route and don't see much relief I would then see an...

Re: more frustrated after follow up

I know my endo would say any TSH over 3 is still hypo, and I would feel very hypo with that TSH. I recently had my synthroid dose increased with a TSH of 2.6 and a "normal" T4 because I was...

Re: Tsh level .01

If you're having a very high heart rate you should ask your doctor for a beta blocker to slow it down until you get everything sorted out.

I've been hyperthyroid and I know how scary the fast...

Re: Anyone have this in their PND

I also experience this in the winter because of the dryness.

Ponaris nasal oil helps with the dryness, but I still get blood tinged postnasal drip from time to time.

Re: Newly diagnosed, need some thoughts.

Based on your TSH alone, you are hypothyroid and do need treatment.

If I were you I would start the synthroid and I'm assuming your doctor wants to recheck your levels at 6 weeks, go for your...
