Re: Just diagnosed and scared

Hi Stevie and welcome. Kevscar is spot on about intense but not aggressive physio. I do disagree about the use of cold - in certain circumstances and as long as it is done very carefully. When you...

Re: New Member - Stellate Ganglion Block question

I am not American, but you should be proud of your bravery in serving your country.

I don't think anyone here would even begin to doubt your pain or think you were whining. I don't know the pain...

Re: New Member - Stellate Ganglion Block question

Hi Wiired.

I wish I could give a positive response, but I had only very limited relief with lumbar sympathetic blocks (they followed much the same pattern as you've described for your SGB) and no...

Re: Feet look just awful, anyone see a foot type of dr for help?

Oh Karen *huggies* I'm so sorry you've got the same problem. And yes, that deep, burning itch - you want to claw your feet off, but the first scratch makes you wish you'd never thought about touching...

Re: RSD and high blood pressure w/ heart palpatations?

Hi - there certainly seems to be some evidence to suggest that CRPS (sorry - I know all you guys call it RSD... all my docs call is CRPS, and I can't change ;)) can cause high BP earlier on and low...

Re: Feet look just awful, anyone see a foot type of dr for help?

Hi Karen, we've not met before - I signed up ages ago but changed computers and lost all my bookmarks.

Definitely get your skin checked out. My CRPS is full body but worst in my feet and lower...

Re: New to the board

I completely forgot I'd signed up to this board...

I'm so sorry about your Mom, dystonia is a horrid thing. Mine is directly related to my CRPS - my legs are affected worst, and now my arm as...

Re: Wait between trial SCS and permanent implant?

There doesn't have to be any wait. I had a 'Permanent Trial', which meant that my trial was conducted using permanent rather than trial leads. I had my trial leads implanted, stayed in hospital two...

New to the board

Hi - I'm new to the board, though certainly not new to CRPS. I'm 26, and had it just over 12 years - the result of a knee injury and surgery when I was 14. My diagnosis took a long time - it wasn't...
