I had a right TKR 10 days ago with a spinal and light sedation. Did ask questions as this was new to me but the result was excellent. I found that I was awake and clear headed quickly. "Normal" ...

It depends on the biopsy result. I had a high grade 'in situ' ie it hadn't spread. Could have had it taken out with them digging around to make sure that they had it all followed by 6 weeks...
