Interesting. Gallbladder will turn you yellow if stones block the duct. Also, if she is only drinking for 2 years chirrosis is unlikely. Are you sure its only 2 years and not 20 years but very heavy...

Oh I didn't know you had the results of the CT scan. Yes THAT is more reliable then the ultrasound and probably would have shown any nodules. They may di an MRI next, that's also supposed to be good

YES I have also found this to be very true. Believe me, you can have 3 ultrasounds in the same day and get 3 totally different reports.
The important things here are: your spleen is not enlarged...

1.1 is basically normal. Your doctor is just being precautions. And he's looking at your gallbladder for sure. Normal bilirubin is up to 1.2 and some labs go to 1.6

With your Triggs at 50 you probably have the large buoyant particles. It's the small dense particles that are the bad ones. Low Triggs means large bouyant. Your fine.
