With your hematocrit and hemoglobin being low you could possibly have an anemia problem. There are more labs that need checked to make sure, iron serum, ferritin, iron saturation.

I also wanted to add I was taking a very large dose of iron a day. 325 mg x2 after about 4 months of seeing no results (Dr prescribed) I switched to the Hemaplex slow release of only 85mgs.
