I wouldn't think so, but everyone reacts differently to medications. It may just be a combination of you stopping the xanax cold turkey, and your own anxiety. I'm not sure. But I take .5 xanax twice...

My suggestion to you would be to NOT stop taking them cold turkey. It can cause some pretty rough side effects. Benzo's should definately be weaned off of VERY SLOWLY. If I were you, i'd cut them...
