I would try and ENT work up first. It sounds as if you need a specialist to identify your problem. These things aren't easy to nail down. I had your symptoms without the throat clearing. ...

Re: Gerd? Symptoms below

Those sounds like classic gall bladder problems. Gerd is usually heartburn and sometimes throat burn, but usually not pain in the right rib cage. I would ask my doctor about possible gall bladder...

Re: Gallbladder removed, miserable post op

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I would really recommend weaning off PPI's after gallbladder surgery. It really helps with digestion. I am 8 months post gallbladder surgery now, and I eat...

My EGD came back fine, but he also did some biopsies. It's just to check for some pre-cancer conditions. Did your doctor check for gallbladder problem?

Re: Could it be Gallbladder even with normal ultrasound?

It took about three weeks after gallbladder surgery, before I really started feeling better. It actually has taken about two months for me to get back to my "normal".

Re: Could it be Gallbladder even with normal ultrasound?

I had an infected gall bladder which caused pretty similar symptoms. Ultrasound came back normal and CT scans. Finally, the HIDA scan came back at 8%, and I had my gallbladder removed.

As far as sore tongue and throat, could you have thrush? An ENT doctor should be able to diagnose that.

Re: Gallbladder in question?

I elimated all fat. In fact, I went down to 80 pounds, but an infected gall bladder just stays infected no matter what you eat. Some doctors try antibiotics, but it usually isn't effective.
