Re: Chronic all over muscle pain, joint pain, fatigue and headaches

I read your last post in shock! Really mouth gaping open! I am so sorry.

I can relate to a physician being smug and rude. When my primary suggested that my problem was possibly endometriosis...

Re: Chronic all over muscle pain, joint pain, fatigue and headaches

Good luck!
I am setting an appointment with a primary that specializes in internal medicine. Maybe I will have better luck with her.
I know my ex-primary kept blowing off my hypothyroidism. I...

Re: Chronic all over muscle pain, joint pain, fatigue and headaches

One of the best things I have found was to get a copy of my bloodwork and research every bit myself! Even though stuff like thyroid and B12 fall within the "normal" ranges it was not optimal for my...

Re: Begging for help, so sad and frustrated

I don't have much to add for the testosterone level other than it sounds as if you are being bullied by your doctors!

This board has been amazing in helping me find out that I am under treated...

Re: Am I Hypo? Need Dr recs...

I haven't found a primary that has been able to help me. But, what I can add is that the 5.0 lab range is the old range.
The "new" range for TSH on my lab reports is 0.358 - 3.740
T4 Free range...

Re: Headed to rheumy to diagnose me.

Hey Sweetie31!
I recently returned from a rheumy for fibromyalgia testing, which I utterly failed! :) Even though my thyroid numbers are within range, I believe that I am being under treated. The...

Re: Switching levothyroxine to armour for muscle pains

Thank you so much for that info!

I will hunt for a thyroid savvy primary doctor ASAP! I shouldn't have to try and do this on my own. But, I have been pushed from specialist to specialist for...

Re: Switching levothyroxine to armour for muscle pains

Thank you so much for your reply! Initially the pain did start in my legs. I was still feeling terrible and I kept asking my primary to either up or change my meds. She would only reply that "TSH...

Hello, I am hypothyroid and have been on levothyroxine since June 2012.
So, after months of fibromyalgia type pains and my primary refusing to try a new thyroid medication I finally got a...

Re: Im new here

One of the things I discovered on my own, that I think the neurologist should have asked, was that if you have numbness from nerves you lose sensation. If you have numbness from muscle tension you...

Re: Im new here

I am new here as well. It has been a long road and things just seem to get worse before they get better :) I believe that my biggest mistake was staying with the same primary doctor. After her...

Re: Doctor's driving me crazy! Is it fibro? Depends which one you ask

So with the journal you were able to figure out what caused those pains? Are you able to avoid the pains with what you know?
Last night was rough, my left thigh and hip tightend up so bad it felt...

Re: Doctor's driving me crazy! Is it fibro? Depends which one you ask

I am sorry! That is one of my worst fears is hearing that it's not real or I am over sensitive. If my body was over sensitive then wouldn't I cry in pain over a little bruise or an incision from...

Re: Doctor's driving me crazy! Is it fibro? Depends which one you ask

It sounds like you are pretty happy with the hysterectomy. If that would reduce even half the symptoms in my legs I would go for it!

Can I ask was the pain in the legs all the time? Because the...

Re: Doctor's driving me crazy! Is it fibro? Depends which one you ask

Thank you for your response. I did have laparoscopy and my uterus is enlarged and inflammed. The only "cure" for adenomyosis is hysterectomy. But, I need to be 100% sure that the body pains will...
