eloisekre, You say only a doctor, excellant PT or a MRI can pin point a shoulder problem. If you look at the evidence, it is an orthopaedist who is the most accurate and PTs who are not far behind....

An OA hip or at least an arthritic hip pattern is easy to diagnose. Biggest loss is medial rotation, then lateral rotation then least of all flexion.
